Inspect HVAC/evaporative cooler units for all properties on a weekly and monthly basis for maintenance needs.
Check performance of major components.
Check for proper voltages.
Adjust amperages as necessary.
Lubricate motors and bearings as necessary.
Adjust belt tensions.
Tighten electrical connections from the load side of the compressor circuit breaker to the compressor motor.
Check system pressures.
Check for refrigerant leaks.
Check for coil cleanliness.
Change filters as necessary.
Adjust air distribution.
Check all capacity, temperature, and safety devices, which control the equipment, except recording or portable items.
Check damper and damper motors of air handling equipment.
Complete all job assignments effectively and efficiently in order to meet required/established guidelines and time frames.
Drive to various locations to perform required duties.
Specific duties will vary from time to time and responsibilities may be added or removed as needed at anytime.
|Qualifications:||EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING/SKILLS PREFERED:|
High School Diploma and HVAC school or equivalent work experience.
Minimum of five years experience in HVAC, light electrical.
Must be able to understand and carry out verbal and written assignments to completion.
Must be able to read and write English, as well as complete basic reports.
Positive attitude and good disposition; able to work effectively with various personalities; neatness in appearance and work product; team player; good organization skills.
Exercise presence and professionalism in representing the company.
Must be able to stand and walk for long periods of time and lift at least 75 lbs.
Valid Nevada Drivers License, with good driving record.
HVAC certification or equivalent work experience.
